Selling

On this page we will explain the basics of how to use the ResidualsForsSale.com website. Being that the site was designed to allow buyers and sellers to efficiently connect with one another, you’ll need to understand 2 basic functions:

  1. How to post a listing
  2. How to contact a seller
PART 1:  Selling  (How to post a listing)

Make sure you’re logged in! If you haven’t already registered with us, go to the Register page and set up an account.

Once you’re logged in, if you are on the My Account page, click on the Submit New Listing button at the top, right hand corner of the screen. If you were already in the site and on another page, click on the Listings tab, then in the pull down, click on the Submit New Listing button.

At this point you’ve successfully arrived on the Submit New Listing page. There are 2 fields on this page which require valid entries. One asks you to enter the Monthly Residual, the other asks you if the portfolio is Portable or not. Depending on your answers, you may be switched over to the parent website MerchantPortfolios.com, however, if your residual is $5000 a month or less, and is NOT portable,  you will be taken to the detail page for Submit New Listing after you click on the Continue button.
Now you should find yourself on the Submit New Listing Detail Page. There are 25 additional fields here that require an entry. REMEMBER: Because this is a fully automated site, EVERY field requires an entry, even if the value is “0”. “N/A” and “Not Applicable” are NOT allowed. Also remember that it is very important to be as conservative as possible with your estimates when entering a value. You want to portray the residual in as accurate a way as possible; RULE #1 of doing sales, if you are going to surprise a buyer, best to do it for the better, not  for the worse.
When you’re done with your entries, click the Continue button at the bottom, right hand corner of the page. You will receive an email confirmation once your listing has been approved or denied by our support team. You will hear back from us shortly.
PART 2:  Buying  (How to contact a seller)

Make sure you’re logged in! If you haven’t already registered with us, go to the Register page and set up an account.

Once you’re logged in, click on the Listings tab, then in the pull down, click on the View New Listing button.
At this point you’ve successfully arrived on the Recent Listings page. For any residual in the grid that interests you, click on the View link to see the detailed level information about that particular opportunity. This will bring you to the Listing Detail Page page for that particular residual.
After reviewing the detailed information about a particular residual opportunity you can choose to contact the seller of that residual directly. To do this, click on the Contact Seller button at the bottom, right hand corner of the page.
If you have not purchased any TOKENS yet, the website will alert you and guide you through the purchasing process. If you already have a balance of TOKENS, you will be able to see what your balance is before you move forward and contact the seller.  Once you click on the Contact Seller button at the bottom of the page, the website will bring you back to the Listing Detail Page where the sellers contact information will now be viewable to you (name, email, and phone number only). Simultaneously, your contact information will be sent to the seller via email from ResidualsForsale.com.

And that’s it! Good luck to all our buyers and sellers and as always, feel free to contact us immediately with any questions.

Sincerely,
